UKULELE FUNHOUSE ORCHESTRA at Redgrave Theatre, Percival Rd, Clifton .

An evening of fun, 16 ukuleles tackling opera, classical, and pop with hilarious and unexpected results - welcome to a world where ukuleles boldly go where no uke has been before. The Ukulele Funhouse Orchestra combines music and comedy - a journey through a rich musical landscape, meeting up with the Lone Ranger to find out why one cant get no Satisfaction, and discovering Sgt Pepper is yet another convert to the uke. Then a brief stop for an operatic aria before heading towards Motown. Chasing Cars along West Country Roads, falling foul of summer M5 jams, they discover what made the Ghost Chickens so riled up, and if Delilah can Walk On The Wild Side. Those ukuleles are applied without discretion to songs you know and love. The Ukulele Funhouse Orchestra are a new phenomenon, based in Somerset and already creating a lot of interest in their first year. TICKETS £8.00 FROM TOBACCO FACTORY 01179 020344
