The Main Street Blues Band PLUS Gerry Jablonski Band ?
For one night only, Gerry Jablonski and the Electric Band PLUS Main Street Blues, two of the top blues bands coming out of Scotland in recent years are appearing at the Voodoo Rooms, West Register Street Edinburgh on Saturday 6th October at 7pm
Hailing from Aberdeen, the Gerry Jablonski band have toured extensively across Europe and Great Britain cementing their reputation as one of the most exciting live bands in the UK today. Fronted by guitarist/vocalist Gerry Jablonski, the band also features blues harmonica prodigy Peter Narojczyk.
Main Street Blues brings together a powerful mix of up-tempo electric blues material, mixed with a wide range of Rhythm and Blues numbers. Fronted by Derek Smith on guitar/ lead vocals and complimented by Ali Petri on Hammond and Piano keyboards, the band have grown respect around blues festivals for putting on a very energetic live show after one of which well known fan Ian Rankin tweeted: “Main Street Blues – so tight you couldn’t slide a Rizla between them. Great gig.”
